Harvesting from the open rain and roof. A 1 lakh water tank to be built.
The Watershed Management project is designed to address water scarcity issues through effective rainwater harvesting and soil conservation techniques. By implementing strategic rainwater collection systems, we aim to reduce soil erosion, mitigate the effects of droughts, and increase groundwater recharge. The project will promote sustainable water management practices to support agriculture, biodiversity, and community resilience.
Through the construction of check dams, percolation pits, and the introduction of bamboo plantations, the project will enhance land stability and prevent water runoff. These measures will create a more resilient ecosystem, supporting plant and animal life while providing sustainable water sources for domestic and agricultural use.
Estimated Start: TBC 1 lakh deposit required
